KSA | Heavy Rains Force Closure Of Some Schools In Saudi Arabia

RIYADH, SAUDI ARABIA – Authorities order the closure of schools on Wednesday in some parts of Saudi Arabia due to rainy weather, Saudi media reported.

Several area in the kingdom, including the south-western region of Jazan, drenched Tuesday in heavy rains, resulting in blocking roads and isolating villages.

Acting Governor of Jazan Prince Mohammed Bin Abul Aziz instructed suspension of classes at all the region’s schools including those in the province of Sabia, on Wednesday due to poor weather, Saudi news agency SPA reported. The decision was take to protect public safety, a statement said.
